Agreement… Mtf… The achievement of La Valance… I`m the other one. On March 1, 2014, the Lox continued their new music with the song “New York”, created by Funkmaster Flex. “New York” saw the three Yonkers Emcees rap on a rhythm reminiscent of samples of the Pudgee, Biggie-assisted “Think Big” with Lord Tariq, supported by the “Ashley`s Roachclip” Drum Break. [10] [11] On March 16, 2014, Lox released the music video “Faded” from the Trinity EP. [12] On March 24, 2014, the music video “New York” was released. [13] [14] In subsequent years, the band considered other labels to qualify as a collective. Throughout the work on the music, each member continuously recorded different solo studio albums. On December 18, 2013, the band released a surprising extended piece (EP) on iTunes entitled The Trinity. [6] The EP debuted at number 141 on the 200 U.S. billboard charts and sold 8,400 times in the first week.

[7] On February 24, 2014, the Lox announced a world concert tour, named after their EP The Trinity. [8] [9] The Lox tried all available legal maneuvers to be released from their contract with Bad Boy. Lawyers and teleconferences did not work. At a New York rap concert, the trio wore “Let The LOX Go” T-shirts and sparked a grass root movement to “Free The Lox.” The pressure that came out of the campaign eventually prompted Bad Boy and Puff Daddy to withdraw the trio from their contracts. “With that, we really changed the game,” Styles says of the contract drama. “It may take years, but others will. We succeeded so that they were not afraid to express themselves. [Citation required] In 2020, they released the song “Loyalty – Love”, later released on their fourth studio album Living Off Xperience. Jason “Jadakiss” Phillips, David “Styles P” Styles and Sean “Sheek Louch” Jacobs began their musical careers in their hometown of Yonkers, New York. [1] As high school students, they created a band called Bomb Squad and began performing on local shows and producing their own demos.

In 1994, they appeared on Main Sources ” Set It Off” from the album Fuck What You Think. While the local rap scene was dominated by artists such as Raw Rome, Lord Devon and a young DMX, the band began to draw attention to its lyrical style and its ability to present stories about urban life. The band eventually changed its name to Warlocks and developed a community of fans by performing on underground mixtapes. At one point, the trio linked up with Jaz-O and had a demon bite produced. [2] One of his admirers was the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, the mother of yonkers Mary J. Blige. [1] After the acquisition of the demo tape that the band made with Jaz-O, Blige passed it on to Bad Boy CEO Sean “Puffy” Combs, who signed it. [1] [3] [4] On Combs` orders, the sorcerers later changed their name to L.O.X. After signing bad boy, the Lox gained a greater momentum from the strength of their first single “Well, Well, Well” with Casino, appeared in 1996 on DJ Clues Mixtape Show Me the Money.
